As a glassmaker, I try to develop new and innovative techniques.  The Window series has been developed using a unique process.  Holes are made in the beginning stages of the vessel, which are then covered by more glass.  Once blown up, the result is these large organic shaped windows.

Using both aspects of the glass, its ability to be transparent as well as opaque.  The shape of the clear windows drives some of the forms and some of the forms are more controlled and exacting.  The result is an interesting combination of color and clear glass, allowing the viewer to look into and through the vessel.
