Jeannet Iskandar’s sculptures meet at the confluence of repetition and transmutation. Her sculptural works, variations on ovoid forms, are composed of hundreds of organically shaped, similarly sized blown glass elements meticulously fused together. Inspired by the mathematical constant Pi (p), and Ravel’s musical masterpiece Bolero, Iskandar strives to achieve a simultaneous complexity of structure and simplicity of form.
