The organismic detail and intricacy in my work are inspired by my observations  of nature.  Networks, intertwined webbings and myriad channels are visible in microscopic inspection of the organic cellular level as well as in a sattelite view of the Great Amazon Basin.  Fundamentally, all life is liquid and has been shaped by fluid systems.      

Each of my works is an invitation for the viewer to come with visual perception of curiosity and deep inquiry.  Where areas of the piece appear open,they are solid,  and many that appear closed are not.  What appears to be the surface invites further exploration into multilayers that surprise or merely fool the eye and mind.  These sculptures are arterial, frothy, lively, bubbly, fluid!
