Rachel Moore combines blown and kiln cast glass with a variety of other media to create haunting, narrative sculptures. Her work creates a palpable tension by setting up a series of contrasting concepts within each piece: beauty vs. the threat of decay; fortitude vs. vulnerability; and permanence vs. shifting reality.
