Alex Stisser

The playful forms of Alex Stisser’s bright, monochromatic sculptures resemble the chunky objects which spark childhood imaginations – plastic play food, life savers candy, brightly colored barbells or a submarine’s periscope. Their gestures, when examined from different angles, recall familiar interactions, like those of mother and child, loud gawking teenagers, or a tumultuous couple.
