Dick Weiss: Good Fences at Traver Gallery Seattle August 25 - October 2 The Traver Gallery in Seattle is pleased to present Good Fences, a solo exhibition featuring fifteen new leaded glass screens by longtime gallery artist Dick Weiss. The abstract compositions of the Weiss’s screens are at once masculine and delicate: wide fields of colors barely touch; a heavy red heart rests gingerly atop a field of green, both suspended in empty space; and white circles float like a constellation of moons, graphically tied together by the thin black lead lines that connect them.

Pilchuck Glass School: Celebrating 40 Years on display at Traver Gallery Tacoma July 30 - September School's 40th Anniversary. Pilchuck has played a crucial role in the creative development of many of the world's most prominent glass artists since it was established by glass artist Dale Chihuly and patrons Anne Gould Hauberg and John H. Hauberg in 1971. This celebratory exhibition will present a combination of new and historical works by world-renowned artists, all of whom have been deeply affected by their experiences with Pilchuck throughout the years.
